How do you integrate JProbe 6.0.x with WebLogic 9.x on a box that doesn't have an X-window?
This example demonstrates integrating with JProbe Profiler. Please make sure that your WebLogic server is stopped before trying these instructions.
1. From the JProbe bin directory, run the following:
./jpasintegrate
2. Select the appropriate # app server from the list.
3. Enter 1 to create a new integration.
4. Enter an Integration Name.
5. Enter the Server Directory.
6. Enter the Startup Script.
7. Enter any Script Parameters.
8. Enter VAR.
9. Enter any Java Options.
10. Enter the Java Executable.
11. Enter.
12. Enter.
13. Save the integration.
14. Enter q to quit.
15. Run the following from the same directory:
./jpasrun
16. The integration will be listed. Rerun jpasrun with the number referencing the integration.
17. You will be prompted for a jpl file. Please save the attached generic jpl file and enter this jpl file. Please note that you will need to modify the filters in this jpl file before using.
18. JProbe will launch your server and you will be able to attach on the remote box.
19. To attach on your Windows box, select Program | Attach to Running Session...
20. Enter the host and port number.
