"Unable to create rvd transport: TibrvException[error=5,message=Arguments conflict" in TIBCO agent
Description
TIBCO agent encounters the following error:
COM.TIBCO.hawk.console.hawkeye.ConsoleInitializationException: Unable to create rvd transport: TibrvException[error=5,message=Arguments conflict.
Cause
The issue is that the agent is not configured correctly and is trying to associate the same service parameter (RV Service) with two different network parameters (RV Network) or the contrary where the agent is associating different service parameters with the same network parameter.
Resolution
When the agent is created (and likely when Hawk monitoring of RV is configured), it binds the RV Service to the network port. The problem is that you cannot associate the same service parameter with two different network parameters. Ensure that the RVD transport parameters are correct and that there is no conflict in the RVD transport.
