Cause
The account used to connect to the databases during an upgrade is having issues logging in or creating logins and users.

Resolution
Go to Start | All Programs | ScriptLogic Corporation | Desktop Authority Manager | Desktop Authority Setup Tool to see which account is being used for database authentication. When the Setup Tool is launched the DB Configuration tab should already be selected. Changes can be made to the Database authenticating account in the SQL Server configuration section.
If Windows authentication is configured, the current user’s credentials are applied. Try logging on as a different account or use an SA account.
