When selecting LDAP as a connection type, there are no database names in the database drop down in SQL Navigator's connection window. Selecting ALL only show TNSNames database names.
2 LDAP servers are set up:
oidmt0, oidmt1
DIRECTORY_SERVERS=(oidmt0.asfasd.com:3060:3131,oidmt1.asfasd.com:3060:3131)
Also, the default_admin_context was set up to accept sub-directory instead of the root.
DEFAULT_ADMIN_CONTEXT="dc=asfasd,dc=com"
SQL Navigator does not support multiple LDAP servers and only accept default_admin_context.
WORKAROUND 1:
May be an issue with 11g client. Test as a connection with a 10g or 9i client.
WORKAROUND 2:
Manually type in the name of an LDAP database to connect in SQL Nav.
STATUS:
Enhancement request ST6345 has been submitted to development for consideration in a future release of SQL Navigator for Oracle.
If not working with multiple LDAP servers, please review solution SOL38261: https://support.quest.com/SUPPORT/index?page=solution&id=SOL38261
May be an issue with the Oracle client. Test connection with other clients.
