Rest API dashboard does not update when the custom API changes -
Description
Custom REST endpoints created by scripts will be listed in the "Rest API" dashboard. But it does not update if it's modified by later scripts (via RestResourceManager.unregisterRestAPIExtensions). -
Cause
This is a known defect request in Foglight referenced by Tracking ID FGL-20044. -
Resolution
STATUS
Defect request FGL-20044 has has been fixed in the 5.9.8 and higher releases of the Foglight Management Server.
WORKAROUND
1. Please navigate to Configuration -> Definitions -> Administration ->Rest API, then search 'WASL' to get the function 'Retrieve REST WASL Setting'.
2. Edit the function, comment out 4 named lines with "//".The temporary workaround is to comment out the 4 lines
Then save the change and check the dashboard again..PNG)
Check again If you can see the custom REST API in the tree. -
