Cannot monitor SSAS with default instance name and customized port -
Description
When trying to monitor SSAS with a non-default port, the install fails because the OS connection uses an incorrect hostname (hostname:port).
An error similar to the following can be found in the agent log file
ERROR [Infrastructure Manager_0 []] com.dell.dsgi.spi.common.utils.logger.LogUtils - SsasInfrastructureManager.java:162:com.dell.dsgi.spi.engine.ssas.infrastructure.SsasInfrastructureManager.collectSaasProcessID(): Error occurred when getting WMI connection to query process ID by service name: MSSQLServerOLAPServicecom.quest.qsi.fason.core.errorhandling.AgentConnectionException: The host HOSTNAME:PORTcould not be found- Profile:FglAM Connection Profile {Host = HOSTNAME:PORT, Agent = HOSTNAME:PORT} -
Cause
Incorrect hostname is set for the WMI conntection -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Please contact Support for a hotfix for this issue.
STATUS
This issue has been logged as defect FOG-477 and will be fixed in a future release of the SQL Server cartridge.
