Description
The following SQL Server service alarms do not fire when the service is not running.
- DBSS - ADH Service Status
- DBSS - DTC Service Status
- DBSS - Integration Service Service Status
- DBSS - OLAP Services Status
- DBSS - Report Server Service Status
- DBSS - SQL Browser Service Status
- DBSS - SQL Writer Service Status

Cause
The SQL Server Services collection only alarms when the startup type of the SQL Server service is automatic and the service is not running.

Resolution
Change the Windows Service status to automatic.
