SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) agent OS connection fails -
Description
When enabling a SSIS agent using the installer wizard, the OS validation fails with a timeout.
The error message "OS validation failed" appears with the message
"Please retry. If the issue still occurs, please contact Quest Software technical support" and
"Request failed to complete within the specified timeout of 80 seconds"
WBemtest was used to run queries. The same user can connect from the FglAM and on the local host to run WMI queries through DCOM. Registry keys have the necessary permissions and remote registry service is running.

Cause
RESOLUTION 1
Fix WinRM issues connecting to the host as described in KB 179523 and stop the third party external application causing the port conflict.
RESOLUTION 2
Block ports 80 and 443 from the FglAM to the host at the firewall level. When the WinRM ports are blocked, the validation process will take less time to verify the ports and progress to testing DCOM sooner (ports 5985, 5986, 80, and 443 are tested for WinRM first in this order)
