High CPU and threads consumption when monitored SQL Server instance is unavailable -
Description
When a monitored instance is unavailable, the CPU on the Foglight Agent Manager may run high when using the SQL Server driver due to a bug in the Microsoft SQL Server driver. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND
Switch from the Microsoft SQL Server driver to the Data Direct (3rd party) SQL Server driver as described in Knowledgebase article 338210.
STATUS
This issue was logged a FOG-4022 and fixed in the 6.3 and higher releases of the SQL Server cartridge.
