Unable to view objects in Schema Browser such as tables -
Description
When I go to Schema Browser Tables, Views, or other tabs, I am unable to see objects I own or have privilege to.

Cause
Check for privileges and also the schema that owns the objects.

Resolution
1. Go to VIEW | Options | Startup - try checking or unchecking Check for access to DBA views (depends on your privileges)
2. Make sure you have the correct privilege to the objects. Run a select statement from the table or view to make sure you can query from the object.
3. Make sure you select the correct schema from the Drop Down list of the Schema Browser.4. Verify filters that may have been applied (red or grey filter button should be available for each object/option)

Additional Information
In some cases this symptom is related to an error that comes up during connection lexlib.lxl not found. If this message was received, locate LexLib.new file in the Toad for Oracle\User Files folder of Toad for Oracle installation directory and rename the file to LexLib.lxl.

In the case of WIndows 7, have the user try right-click "Run as administrator"
