Application Launcher element does not launch programs (4225384)

An explicit path is required for programs queued to execute by ScriptLogic or Desktop Authority's Application Launcher object, unless the application's executable is found in the search path. For example: Windows XP will launch Internet Explorer simply by specifying "iexplore.exe”.

Note: It is recommended that the pre-defined dynamic variables be used whenever possible. The dynamic variable $IEFileSpec (C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe) will work properly for all operating systems.
