Fastlane Migrator
When logging on to the network, a user receives the error 'invalid credentials' when trying to connect to mapped drives. When logging on to the target domain with a migrated account, the user receives an 'invalid credentials' error. This error is generated when the user's updated profile tries to connect to mapped drives. In the current release of DM Manager 5.1.1, mapped drives are not updated with the target SID. As a result, the information stored in the registry key : HKey_Current_User\Network\<Mapped Drives> does not contain the updated account and password.
WORKAROUND
There are several workarounds to this issue.
Delete the mapped drives prior to updating the workstation and recreate them after the process completes. New drive mappings will have the target SID appended to them.
When the 'invalid credentials' error appears, from that window enter in the new account information i.e.: Domain\User and the password. This will permanently update the drive mapping.
From a WinNT4 computer edit the registry key : HKey_Current_User\Network\<Mapped Drives>, and put the new account information into the Username : REG_SZ : value
STATUS
This issue will be fixed in the next version release (Manager 5.5)
