After upgrading from Version 5.x to 6.x the names of the Smart Differential / Fast Compression files have a different format.

Resolution
The files created under 5.2 would be named with this structure:
AdventureWorks.smartdiff.f0.bkp
AdventureWorks.smartdiff.f0.d0.bkp
AdventureWorks.smartdiff.f0.d1.bkp
AdventureWorks.smartdiff.f0.d2.bkpThe files created under 6.0 would be named with this structure:
Northwind.litespeed.f2.bkp
Northwind.litespeed.f2.d0.bkp
Northwind.litespeed.f2.d1.bkp
Northwind.litespeed.f2.d2.bkp -
Additional Information
Per the LiteSpeed Development team, the naming convention differences between version 5.2 and 6.0 is due to the name change from SmartDiff to Fast Compression. They do not have any other changes to this feature scheduled, and do not anticipate changing the name structure at all - it will remain database.litespeed.#.#.bkp
The F indicates the Full backup file (or the Full that this differential is associated with), D indicates the differential in the series.
