There are multiple errors that can occur:
1. When trying to launch the InTrust Monitoring Console default site, the the error below occur:
Internal error. Cannot start application.
Enhanced error information.
Number: 0x80070057
Description: Cannot initialize database connection. The parameter is incorrect.
2. Within the InTrust Monitoring Console Administration site there is no information contained within the database fields.
3. No real time alerts will be recieved.
4. The Quest Real Time Monitoring Service will have stopped and cannot be restarted, subsequent start attempts cause the following error events in the InTrust Event Log:

The pointer to the Alert Database within InTrust is no longer valid within the Configuration Database, this can be caused by accidental changes to the pointer or renaming/creating a new Alert Database.
Within the InTrust Manager:
1. Open the InTrust server properties (Configuration > InTrust Servers > Right click on Server).
2. Choose the Alert Database tab.
3. You should see that the Alert DB name is in the form of {096B356C-B9DD-42DF-B997-D10439A9AE40}
4. Select the [...] and repoint to your Alert DB.
5. Commit changes.
6. Start the Quest Real Time Monitoring service.
7. Check the Monitoring console starts and you can access your profiles.
