Error creating tables manually or through the GUI: "ERROR [HY000] [DataDirect][ODBC Sybase Wire P (4223873)

1. User attempts to create tables via scripts/commands in the Toad's Editor or if the table is created through the Database Browser, clicking on it's Data tab also results in the following error:

"ERROR [HY000] [DataDirect][ODBC Sybase Wire Protocol driver][SQL Server]The 'CREATE TABLE' command is not allowed within a multi-statement transaction in the 'tempdb' database."

2. Same error occurs with Native Sybase driver when running a script which includes a CREATE TABLE statement AND AUTO-COMMIT is switched off

2. If a script is run, the Sybase driver automatically sets it to Transaction Mode, so if AUTO-COMMIT is switched off, the resulting error occurs.

Issue fixed in version 2. The latest version of Toad for Data Analysts can be downloaded at:
http://support.quest.com/Search/SearchDownloads.aspx

2. Switch AUTO-COMMIT on (button bottom left of Editor) for the running of the script, or run each statement individually if that is not an option.
