Description
Does the SQL Server Service and/or the SQL Server Agent Service need to be running in order to install LiteSpeed components, including the extended stored procedures, files, folders, registry entries and complete the license registration?

Resolution
The SQL Server Service must be running for the installation process to complete but it is not required to register the license.

Additional Information
If installing remotely, the Remote Registry Sevice must be running as well to complete the installation process successfully.
