1. Change Locks-Blocking Processes alarms and add the SQL blocking text in alarm message:
a. From Configure ribbon bar, select Alarms option
b. Select a connection name from drop down list at top
c. Locate and edit Locks – Blocked Processes alarm
d. Uncheck Factory Settings option if needed
e. Edit the High Severity Description field and change it to this:
Session {{KEY_VALUE}} has been blocked by session {{SQLBlockingList.BlockedBySPID}} for the last {{value}} seconds. Blocking Details: {{SQLBlockingList.blocking_sql_text}}
f. If there are multiple High Severity levels for this alarm, change Description field for those severities as well
g. Hit OK to save and close
2. Configure Alarm Actions rule suppress alarm if alarm message contains specific SQL text
a. From Configure ribbon bar, select Alarm Actions option
b. Click New and enter a rule name
c. Add desired condition such 'The alarm is...' and select Locks – Blocked Processes alarm
d. Add desired condition for specific connections
e. Add 'The details contain' condition and add sql text that one does not want to see blocking alarms for and hit OK
f. Add 'Suppress the alarm' action
g. Hit OK to save rule
