Consolidator jobs may complete, but with the following error:
"File System Error: (0x5) Access is denied"
This is a returned Operating System Error Message. -
Resolution
This is a system returned "Access is Denied" error.
Verify that credentials supplied have sufficient permissions/rights to access files, folders, volumes specified in the consolidator job. -
Additional Information
0x5 Hex = 5 Decimal
At the command prompt, you can enter the decimal value into the following command:
net helpmsg 5
...which returns:
Access is denied.
