Solaris agent is running under the 7-bit "С" locale, while there are 8-bit symbols in the logs.
Change the agent locale to any 8-bit one, for example en_US.ISO8859-1
To do so, find /etc/init.d/adcscm.solaris_sparc file, and add this string in the beginning of the file:
LANG=en_US.ISO8859-1;export LANG
