Audit of the Apache HTTP Server logs can become a crucial task for the company's IT staff. This solution supplies an ad hoc data source that can be used within the Intrust framework just like any other custom text log data source.

Cause
The Intrust framework does not contain predefined data source for auditing Apache HTTP server logs, and creating it manually can be a complicated task.

Resolution
1. Download attachment;
2. Import downloaded xml file into the Intrust framework using the utility InTrustPDOImport from the Intrust support tools suite;
3. Open Intrust manager, click on 'Data Sources' node. Right-click the Apache data source and select 'Properties' option. Open 'Settings>Edit' to edit the path to the actual location of the Apache HTTP server log files.
