Cause
Number of worker threads in the Quest Knowledge Portal application pool exceeds 1.

Resolution
- Open IIS manager and expand application pools;
- Highlight Quest Knowledge Portal 1.x application pool and click 'Properties';
- Open 'Performance' tab and in the Web Garden area set the value of Maximum number of worker threads to 1 and apply.
- Highlight Quest Knowledge Portal 1.x application pool and click Stop and then Start.

Additional Information
This issue may also occur if the 'Quest Knowledge Portal' application pool Recycling setting for 'Virtual Memory Limit (KB)' is set too low causing the IIS worker process serving the Knowledge Portal to frequently restart. The default limit is 0 (unlimited).
