ScriptLogic has encountered a critical error while "Configuring Browser setting".
Description

There are times when a Kixtart error comes up with one or more users.
Error: expected ')'! also second error while configuring browser

The error occurs after scriptlogic.bat runs.
Points to a line number xxxxx tmp file created under User's profile AppData\Local\Temp...
After clicking OK, second error comes up saying "Scriptlogic encountered a critical error while "Configuring Browser Setting"".
Cause

This error is most common on Mozilla Firefox and it is related to a corrupted profile in the Domain user's profile folder.
Resolution
1. On the client machine and under the affected user's session, uninstall the Mozilla Firefox software.
2. Browse to the user's profile folder at C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\FireFox\Profiles and delete the affected user's folder.
3. Reboot the machine.
4. Reinstall the Mozilla Firefox software.
The error message should no longer appear, but in case the issue persists, a service request can be opened by clicking here.
