Description:
VaultDR Online Windows backup fails with "DeviceIoControl failed to Sync partition" error.


Symptoms:
Vault DR Online backup fails immediately after the Vault DR Online APM is installed. The following errors are logged -

Failed to create handle to set IO parameter for OFM. The system cannot find the file specified.
Failed to set OFM's I/O parameters WIP and SyncTimeout
Start backup partition table for device: Disk 0
Backup of partition table device successful for: Disk 0
Start Sync partition: C:
DeviceIoControl failed to Sync partition: C:. Incorrect function.
Failed to Sync partition: C:

Restart OS (Vault DR client) immediately after the Vault DR Online plugin has been installed, and check the System event log for correct loading of of the "OFMLvDrv" driver -
