Description:
Windows 7 comes with Windows Defender enabled causing upgrade to fail.

Symptoms:
Failed to launch process to run script ckinstall.sh
Resolution

1. Search for "Defender"

2. Open Windows Defender, select tools, then options, then administrator and uncheck "Use this program".
