Failed to write segment NetWare backup job will not span to another tape -

Description: Running tape drive off Netware file server found that when Netvault reached EOT it would not span to another tape. Errored out with "Failed to write segment" or "Media Access Error
Symptoms: Backup fails instead of spanning when job reaches end-of-tape -
Resolution
Go into Netvault Device Management, Right click on drive. Select Configure, then on the Configuration tab look for "Amount of media reserved at End of Tape" set it to 8192.
