DB2 backup fails with SQL20082N error. (4047117)

Description:
DB2 backup fails with SQL20082N error.

Symptoms:
The following error is generated when attempting a DB2 backup -
Failed to attach to instance with account . SQL20082N Security processing failed with reason "24" ("USERNAME AND/OR PASSWORD INVALID")"

Do one of the following -
* Change the DB2 password to a length smaller or equal to the DB2 UserID string,
or
* Choose a DB2 UserID string length larger or equal to the required password length.
