Email Notifications still being sent (4046961)

Symptoms:
When the NetVault Configurator has been configured correctly and all Global Notifications are not selected, Emails are still being sent by NetVault.

To find out which user is sending the emails, check the emailed Reports middle section and there you'll find a 'Component 'User's Selected Notifications - cli default template' at 11:21:49, 25 Sep 2009' entry. You will be able to see the relevant user after the word "Component".

Go to NetVault GUI - Access Control - double click the relevant user - Notification tab - there you will see an item selected i.e. a blue circle. Double click on that folder and then double click on the next blue circled item to reveal the ticked email box. Untick that item and click on the "Save" icon on the top left hand side.
