Can not perform Parallel Informix Whole System backup (4046876)

Description:
Can not perform Parallel Informix Whole System backup.

Symptoms:
Informix Whole System backup will not use more than one backup device, even though the backup and restore environment is configured for parallel backup.

Cause of problem:
'rootdbs' can not be included in a parallel backup. This is a constraint imposed by the Onbar utility. When a Whole System backup is performed, Onbar will backup each dbspace in series because 'rootdbs' is included in a Whole System backup.

There is no solution or workaround. Only dbspace backups which do not include 'rootdbs' may be run in parallel. To enable parallel dbspace backups, set BAR_MAX_BACKUP in the server's 'onconfig' file to the desired number of parallel backups (and exclude 'rootdbs' from these jobs).
