Description: Unable to get NVLOGDUMP to run on a client or Smart Client

Symptoms: Get error “Failed to start CLI sessions – Failed to connect
Resolution

Since logs are only kept on the NetVault Server, then NVLOGDUMP only works at the NetVault Server
