Getting numerous ARP requests from Netvault to non-Existent CLient. (4046580)

Description:
We had a Netvault client that was taken offline without being removed as a client. This client is permanently offline and can't be brought back.

Recently we have noticed numerous ARP requests coming from the Netvault server and clients looking for this offline client. In order to stop them, we have removed it as a Netvault client - but, the ARP requests persist. We have tried restarting the Netvault service on all clients and the server. We have tried rebooting clients and the server, but the requests continue. How can we get these to stop?

Netvault is still sending out inquiry packets looking for a Client that has been removed from the Network and has also been removed from NetVault client management.

Symptoms:
Packet traffic on network looking for non-existent server

Stop Netvault Services at the NV Server. Edit ../netvault/etc/machines.dat and remove entry for client that is no longer there. Save file and restart Service. Problem should now be resolved.
