Symptoms:
Duplications were setup correctly using the "Immediate" option rather than using "Repeating", but some duplications were successful and some weren't. -
Resolution
Make sure that the NVDB Backup is not scheduled to run in between Phase 1 and 2 backups, as the NVDB backup locks the NVDB and therefore cannot retrieve the backup information in order to perform the Phase 2 Duplication.
NVDB Backups should be scheduled to run when no other backups and restores are running (daily if possible).
