Created new job and this ran correctly
We found that the customer had created new virtual system with the same name but with 64bit OS rather than 32 bit OS.
Reasons
When we backup an image we use a VMware uuid to identify the image. So when the new image was created the uuid changed even though the system name had stayed the same.
If an Image is recreated a new backup selection set is required.
The old selection set should be deleted and we can say if an image is deleted permanently the backup job should be deleted.
