In Smartdisk deduplication can be set for a specfic time with the dedupe configuration command as follows.
Example 1:
If you use the command:
smartdisk config -dedupe-window 12:00-18:00
That will schedule deduplication to run every day stating at 12:00 and finishing at 18:00.
Example 2:
smartdisk config -dedupe-window Sun 12:00-18:00
This will run deduplicaiton only on Sundays between noon and 18:00.
It is currently not possible to schedule deduplication to run on more than one specific day weekly. Either it is specified for one specific day as above or for a specific time but on a daily basis. -
