Description:
You get an error when trying to add a new VTL. In the modify library window, it will let you create a VTL. On a Windows computer, it will appear to let you select the new library, but will fail when you click on the save details button.
Symptoms:
Device not modified - Device could not be found -
Resolution
Add the library by going to device management, click on add and then select add library. Double click on the NetVault server, and select the library here.
Repeat in the drive selection tab for each drive incrementing the drive bay for each drive. -
