The challenge file could not be output to disk.
Ensure there is space in the SmartDisk tmp directory which on a default linux installation would be /usr/smartdisk/foundation/tmp and on Windows would be C:\Program Files\BakBone Software\NetVault SmartDisk\foundation\tmp and that there are no permission problems writing to this directory.
The challenge file is part of the internal authentication between the SmartDisk processes and is created on launch. Failure to write this file will result in these messages.
