Sharepoint APM job fails with 'STSADM failed' although the SQL server and the Sharepoint server both have access to the same Sharepoint temp space.
Can be that the SQL server used in conjunction with the sharepoint server does not have access to the temp working dir used by the sharepoint APM (See SOL79258)
but if this is verified not to be the case it may be that there is simply not enough space on the Netvault/sharepoint APM disk for the working dir.
If that is the case the following will be seen in the sharepoint plugin trace:
