Re-Adding Virtual Client produces a License Check Failed Error (4045116)

Deleting and re-adding a NetVault Virtual Client can report a fail on the license check with the error:

Use the following procedure to manually remove all or some instances of Virtual Client from the NetVault configuration.

1. Verify that the license has not expired or been deleted from the NVBU server using the Manage Clients window.
2. Make sure the virtual client has already been removed from the Client List viewed when in the Manage Clients window.
3. Navigate to NV_HOME/config directory and remove the contents of the vmachines folder. There are directories for each instance of virtual client. Remove the appropriate components.
4. Additionally open and clear the appropriate sections of the vmachines.cfg file located in the NV_HOME/config directory and save before closing.
5. Re-create the virtual clients.
