Informix Restore: XBSA Error (BSAGetObject) Backup object does not exist in Storage Manager (4044521)

Affected Module & Version - APM for Informix (Version 3.6 but probably occurs in others)
OS Version - Linux but probably occurs on others
Application Information - Informix 9.4 (but may effect other versions).

Description:
Specific problem with NetVault: Backup, APM for Informix on Linux


Symptoms:
1. When restoring a database a "XBSA Error (BSAGetObject) Backup object does not exist in Storage Manager" error is generated.
2. The restore fails.
3. In this case the Informix database has been previously renamed.
4. Tracing the Informix APM shows the restore trying to access a file with the old naming conventions:
