Unable to eject tape, getting "Check host backup software system locked"
Symptoms:
Tape does not eject, and error message is displayed on library panel.
In netvault's Device Managment right click on the library arm and select Open Door. In Windows environments ensure that the Removable Storage service is not running and set to disabled.
