Symptoms: You issue the "Open Door" or "Open EE Port" commands in NetVault, but don't receive the results you expect, i.e. the doors don't open -
Resolution
When issuing an "Open Door" / "Open EE Port" command to a library through NetVault, this leads to the device manager sending an unlock command to the library and it releasing control. This unlock command is interpreted differently by different libraries - sometimes, this indeed results in the library swinging its doors open. But depending on the type of library, this might actually not visibly change anything, and you still need to use the front panel in order to open the - now unlocked - doors.
