Description:
Netvault Process Manager Fails to Start due to report database corruption
Symptoms:
Netvault Process Manager Fails to Start or
Netvault Process Manager starts for approximately 8 seconds then stops
The event logs indicate “Error nvrepdbmngr.exe encountered a problem"
Install Netvault Server v8.5 on a spare machine
Stop the NetVault service and then copy the new Program Files\Bakbone Software\Netvault\reports directory to your existing Netvaut Server replacing the faulty nvreportdbmgr entirely.
Report components will revert to their default configuration, and additional components that were created will be lost.
