File System Plugin died unexpectedly error in NetVault 8.1 on a Macintosh

Symptoms:
Either when upgrading or performing a clean installation of NetVault 8.1, you double click on the File System Plugin, a Plugin died unexpectedly error appears.

Unfortunately Mac OSX 10.3 is no longer supported. Only Mac OSX 10.4 and 10.5. If there is a storage device attached to the Mac machine, then only 10.4.11 and 10.5 are supported. All of our supported operating System versions can be found on the following link:

Additionally to this the latest version of Mac OS X, Leopard, has dropped support for all PowerPC G3 processors and for PowerPC G4 processors with clock speeds below 867 MHz.
Please install NetVault on a supported Operating System and the upgrade and clean installations will complete successfully.
