Oracle RMAN backup of control files can fail if autobackup is set to ON (4042551)

Description:
Oracle RMAN backup including control files will fail if Oracle autobackup is set to ON, and nvpluginaccess authentication is incomplete or incorrect.

Symptoms:
Backups will fail with message similar to the following:
Warning – Oracle RMAN APM configuration file contains incorrect Account/Password/Domain information
Job Message – RMAN-03009: failure of Control File and SPFILE Autobackup command on [channel name] channel at [date]
Job Message – ORA-19506: failed to create sequential file, name=[file name]
Job Message – ORA-27028: skgfqcre: sbtbackup returned error

Backing up a control file when autobackup is set to ON requires the backup administrator to run the NetVault command "nvpluginaccess" to set correct authentication between the client and server.
