Description: Filesystem backups fail intermittently with the following errors:
Fatal error writing backed up data
Fatal error processing children of XXX
Fatal error backing up selected item XXX or its children

Resolution
This is indicative of a networking problem on the client it is occurring on. If it occurs on all clients the problem is probably on the server. Trouble shooting would include:
1. Checking the line speed of the nic and any switches between the two machines, and verifying they are set the same. (preferably auto)
2. Replacing the network cable on the affected machine.
3. Using a different port for the affected machine.
4. Replacing the nic on the affected machine
5. If all of the above fail, try setting the line speed to 100Mbps full duplex on the problem client. -
