Description
Linux paths displayed in configuration on a NetVault Windows install -
Cause
After installing NetVault 11.x on a Windows Server a rare issue can occur where certain NetVault directory paths appear to be installed to Linux paths. You will see the following below when looking at the "General" and "Machine" tabs of the NetVault Configurator or in the WebUI:
Machine tab displays "Machine Name" field with: <Put-the-local-machine-name-here>- Service tab will display the service status as: Unknown
General tab display the following paths:
- Database Directory: /usr/nv6/db
- Log Directory: /usr/nv6/logs
- Temporary Directory: /usr/nv6/tmp
- Reports Directory: /usr/nv6/reports
- Statistics Directory: /usr/nv6/stats

Resolution
The following options should be used in an attempt to resolve this issue:
If Option A does not help to resolve this issue, please try Option B
A.) The issue is with the server not having the environment variables set properly.
Please check the temp and the tmp environment variables and make sure they are set properly.
1.Go to Control Panel | System settings| Advanced System Settings| Advanced | Environment Variables.
Make sure that the values for TEMP and tmp are set correctly.
B.)Typically this error occurs when KB3072630 is present without KB3139923, or vice versa.1).
