Volume 'EFI System Partition' does not contain a recognized file system.
Description

When attempting to backup a server, an error is generated stating that the file system is not recognized. In the AppRecoveryPM.log file on the root of the agent server's C: drive, the following information is logged:

Failed to open '\\.\HarddiskVolume8\FatVolumeMetadata.xml', error 1005
Cause

This error is caused when the format of a volume on the server is not supported by AppAssure. AppAssure supports backup of NTFS and REFS only.
Resolution

WORKAROUND:
Remove the unsupported volume from protection. Please not that you will not be able to restore any data from the volume since it will not be backed up.
