When Installing Appassure 5xx Agent, after clicking "Install" an "unexpected error" occurs
"Cannot find a procedure entry point decode pointer from dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"
This error can occur on Window 2003 and Windows XP with no service pack applied and the server has not had Windows Updates performed. The error has not been seen on Windows 2008 R2.
Although AppAssure 5xxx does not have a requirement for a service pack to be installed on the server we do have prerequisites per the core and agent installations that are needed which rely on the server being patched to a certain extent for basic application installations
