Administrators may encounter a situation where, despite setting the Screen Timeout option under Option Sets to 120 minutes, Android devices only allow a maximum screen timeout of 10 minutes. Cause
The discrepancy arises due to the following factors:
- The Screen Timeout feature in KACE Cloud is designed to set a maximum limit for screen timeout, rather than enforcing a default duration to the max value. This means that the actual screen timeout duration may vary based on device settings and user preferences.
- The maximum screen timeout that can be configured on an Android device is determined by the device manufacturer. For example, Pixel devices may allow a maximum screen timeout of 30 minutes, while Galaxy devices may only permit a maximum of 10 minutes, eventhough both were configured to 60 miniutes.

To address this issue and ensure better control over screen timeout settings, administrators are advised to:
- Set the "Screen Timeout" value in "Option Sets" to a duration allowed by the device's operating system.
- Consult the support site or documentation for the specific brand of the device to determine the maximum screen timeout allowed. This information can be used to make informed decisions when configuring the "Screen Timeout" setting in KACE Cloud.
