Restrict a user's ability to edit data or table structure to particular database using Toad
説明
Need to restrict a user from using Toad to edit data or table structure in a particular database. Can not restrict Oracle privileges because the user needs them to work in another database.
対策
This can be done by using Toad Security to assign the user "Read Only Override" in database in question. This will allow the user to have read only privileges in the desired database, but normal privileges in all the other databases.
For further information about this, please search for "Read Only Override" in Toad's Help and click on Toad Features Security. At the bottom of the Help page information regarding the Read-Only set up will be found. It will also give instructions to set up Toad Security if it is not already set up
