How do you compare and sync two databases or two schemas using Toad Data Modeler?
Can alter scripts be generated?
TDM 4.x and older has a "Sync and Convert" Wizard that allows synchronizing diagrams and coverting. But keep in mind TDM is tool for database designers, it is not specialized schema comparison and synchronization tool. While this feature can help with synchronizing database, we suggest a tool with a specific compare and sync feature be used if possible.
TDM 5.3 has the same feature but noted as "Generate Change Script".
For TDM 4.x and older:
Create models to compare.
Go to File | Sync & Convert | Sync & Convert Wizard feature and run specifically the option to "Alter Scripts" when selecting action.

For TDM 5.x and newer:
Go to Model | Generate Change Script | Run.
